Low-Voltage Night Lighting
There are 3 reasons for a low-voltage night lighting system: Safety, Security, and Magic.
Safety is improved by lighting steps and paths, so that your family and guests can see changes in terrain, landscape elements, and any hazardous obstacles that nighttime obscures.
Security increases because exterior lights can make your property less appealing to criminals at nighttime.
Magic happens when lights come on at night. To make entertaining possible, for quiet paths with nightlit flowers, and for quiet corners for two people, a softly lit tree, stars and crickets.
As for the nuts and bolts:
We install only LED lights. They last for up to 80,000 hours, that’s 9 years/24 hours a day, or double that for night use. They also use a fraction of the electricity of conventional incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. We install LED lamps that can be replaced as they expire or as technology yet improves. And each light comes in a spectrum of available light from warm to cool on the kelvin scale.
